Despite the fact that it was the holy month of Ramadan, which is usually a quieter time of year, August turned out to be full-on here at propertyfinder.ae. You will have already read in the blog that the whole team was busy coordinating the ‘Meals for Workers’ project in which we collected Dh60,000 to buy 4000 iftar meals for labourers, thanks to the amazing donations of our partners.
August also saw us welcome on board our brand new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Ali Syed. Hailing from the UK, Ali brings a wealth of experience in web, mobile and video technology, solutions architecture and technical project management. He will play a major role in the site’s exciting future development and we are delighted to have him in the team!
Despite what most people believe, it seems summer is in fact the ideal time to find a property in the UAE! July and August 2012 was a very busy period for propertyfinder.ae and we sent more enquiries to our brokers than ever before and hit lots of traffic records.

Its funny to see all the same headlines as before, Dubai will go wild on construction for another couple of years and fingers crossed wont suffer the same crash as last time.
